Supporting conservative Alabama values for a more perfect union.

Naturally, during an election year, the party opens a headquarters and holds party events. However, the Walker County Republican Party does many things beyond the usual election activities to benefit the community:

The Walker County Dictionary Project has been sponsored for about six years by the Walker Republican Women. About 1,000 dictionaries are given annually to second-graders in the Jasper City School System and third-graders in the Walker County School System. Anyone wanting more information may contact Jean Boshell, the president of the Walker Republican Women, at 205-221-4590 (home) or 205-612-1202 (cell).

This group is one of the main engines of the local party. It not only holds a monthly meeting, but it also is active in arranging the activities of the party. Contact President Deliska Lee by calling 205-387-2607 or writing to 1428 Bush Dr., Jasper, AL 35504.
